Licence for Short-Term Rentals

By-law No. 2023-05

Every application for a Licence for a Short-Term Rental or a renewal shall include and upload below:

Proof of residence (ex: drivers licence);
proof of insurance for Short-Term Rental use;
proof that the well water is safe to drink;
proof of certified letter from the Fire Chief;
a copy of a Safety Plan including the location of smoke alarms on each floor, the location of CO alarms, the location of mounted fire extinguishers on each floor including kitchen, and establiched escape routes for each bedroom in case of emergency.
proof of certified letter from the By-Law officer that there is no building outstanding work order open and
pay the Licence fee of 1000$.
