Construction of a new Community Centre in St-Eugene ON.
The Township has acquired the land on Labrosse Street, where the old Co-op used to be, for the purpose of building a new community center. We are pleased to announce today that our application for funding under the Canadian Community Revitalization Fund, funded by the Government of Canada through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), has been successful. An allocation of $483,750 has been granted and the municipality has set aside $41,500 as a reserve to date. We have launched a fundraising campaign to support this project.
